Block 336

Block 336 is an artist-led gallery with 450sqm of exhibition space based in Brixton, South London, promoting engagement and critical discussion around contemporary art and ideas.

From initially designing their identity we have become a trusted creative partner for the gallery, developing the promotion for every exhibition since opening.

We also conceptualise and design publications for exhibitions, working closely with the artists to create materials that are relevant to the artworks and themes running through the show.

To celebrate the launch of the New Contemporaries exhibition opening at Block 336, we helped develop a limited edition pale ale with fellow South London neighbours, Brixton Brewery.

The label uses the hexagonal logo of the gallery and fills it with different textures and patterns representative of the 47 artists selected.

Echoing the sentiment of the exhibition, which supports emergent art practices from UK art schools, the juicy, hazy brew uses emerging hop and yeast varieties.
