Dice are a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy, characterised by their refreshingly modern approach.

Beginning with an in-depth strategy workshop, we got to the heart of what makes Dice different from other engineering companies. To them it was important to creatively marry a humanistic approach with new technologies, which led us to develop the brand promise ‘Engineering with Integrity’.

This purpose is reflected in the brand identity; a symbol of focus, precision and direction. Signifying a meeting of minds and enhanced possibilities, it brings all of Dice’s values together in one iconic mark.

The Dice website needed to reflect the varied and diverse nature of the work they take on.

The homepage is an ever-changing feed of projects, journal entries, announcements, tweets and Instagram posts. These different modules are displayed in a random order giving the user a fresh experience every time they visit the site.

The nature of engineering means that some projects can be years in the making. The visual assets available to demonstrate Dice's involvement in projects ranges from hand-drawn sketches to CGI renders, on-site photos, technical drawings, maps and drone videos.

Project pages were designed to accommodate a gamut of media, displaying them through different sized modules. This allows Dice to play an active role in building the pages, updating them as the projects progress.

Having place to voice their opinion and learnings was an important requirement from the directors of Dice. To show their pro-active and engaged approach to their industry, a journal section was created where long-form articles can be posted alongside links to their engineering and start-up themed podcast series.
